Objective of the Lab: To provide students with practical knowledge of parallel and distributed computing techniques and their applications. The lab helps students understand the concepts of parallel processing, multi-core processors, clusters, and GPU-based computing. It enables students to develop and execute parallel programs using programming models such as OpenMP and MPI, while learning about synchronization, load balancing, speedup, and performance optimization. The lab also aims to develop the ability to solve large and computationally intensive problems efficiently using high-performance computing systems.
